Will it wee oil out?
I've got a diff fitted in the car ar the moment (non LSD). If I pull the drive shafts out will it wee oil out (its set to proper fill
level)?

another of my really stupid replies!
Can't remember, even though I drive a Sierra, but if the filler/level plug is below the driveshaft level then yes, if not then no.............to
state the obvious! (so not much help unfortunately!)

Yes, but not much as the oil level should be slightly below the lip.
But seen as you can get the diff out with one hand, you can hold a tray with the other!

or should that be halfshaft(just read the bulk of the thread again)

(oil level should be 10mm below filler plug if set to "correct" level)
