Hubs and wheel bearings

Does anyone know if any other hubs will fit mk2 escort legs? i.e. capri, cortina, sierra

Also how difficult is changing the bearings in them? I seem to remember something about having to have wheel bearings pressed in

A brass punch is sufficent to push the outer races in, and a cold chisel will remove them. Take care with the chisel not to damage the inside of the hubs when removing the outer races.

Escort and cortina berings are no the same, on my hubs at least.

Sierra hubs are completely different in design and bearing type.

Best way to push new bearing in is to use the old bearing as a drift (when talking about the outer race) as it will spread the load evenly arund the bearing and remove the likelihood of causing stree raisers.
