Steering column
I have just chopped all the sierra bits and pieces off the upper column. All looks fine aprt from the fact there is now a fair gap directly behind
the sierra wheel before the collar starts.
A freind mentioned that I could push the upper column more into the upper uj on the lower column but I can't do that as I have a little locating
lug on the upper column connecting clamp that locates in the lower column.
It functions fine but looks a bit funny, is this ok for SVA?? I can't see why not but thought I'd ask.
Rich.

It's fine as it is in the non-compliant area... refer to SVA manual for more detail. Everything behind the wheel (as you face it) is the zone.
Therefore the bigger the wheel the bigger the zone.
