Calipers, Pistons, etc...
How did anyone get the pistons out of their M16 calipers? I've blown one out of each, but obviously can't blow the second out, so any
ideas would be useful!
Or did most people just replace the calipers completely?

You can blow it out if you split the caliper and bung the holes but thats hard work.
I put a piece of mdf about 15m mm thick in beetween the pistons and wedged in the middle then blew them both to the middle. Take the wood out and blow
it again 1 will pop out the other should be out enought so that it will pull out by hand..

i thought you weren't supposed to split the m16's because of the strech bolts.not sure if they are available anymore? i pumped mine out
with a grease gun messy but it works just put a g clamp on the free one and then the other one came out too

Slight thread hi-jack sorry! Are M16's fitted to all escort mk1's and 2's and the cortinas with the correct uprights etc...?
