refurbing lobro driveshafts

i have bought some new rubber boots or whatever they are called and de-greased the bearings on each end and will fill with new grease,is that enough or should i replace the bearings as well ?

You should examine the balls and inner and outer races for damage. The balls sometimes show signs of pitting and the races in the inner star and outer housing can show signs of "pickup". If they're anything but perfectly shiny, they should be replaced.
Also check the cage for hairline cracks in the corners of the six windows. If they're cracked, they're grenades waiting to go off.
