Steering coupling length

Can someone with a Stuart Taylor car measure the length of the steering downlink for me please, say from the rack pinch bolt to the clamp bolt at the upper end, I have an adjustable column & I'm not sure how mutch of the white nylon should be stiking out of the triangular section
