Help needed -

Bloody Gritters or none gritters! While going around a mini roundabout this morning i slid into the kerb in my road car. It is a vauxhall Vectra SRI 2004 model and have managed to bend the steering rack control arm [thats the threaded bit of bar from the steering rack to the track control end] Ive been told you can buy new ones but what I am asking is how hard is it to renew these. Are special tools required. If anyone has fitted one can they let me know please? ASAP - Thanks Jacko

you got a "short rack" with long side rods?
if so they are ok,clip holds the lock plate on the side rod bolts, undo siderod -rack bolt, watch for washers, clamp bolt holds side rod to rod end, count threads and get tracking done after

who cares who wins
pass the pork pies
