Steering tracking
Hi-All - Unfortunately I slid of the road and hit a kerb when it was icy in my road car. Its a Vauxhall Vectra 04 model SRI. A freind of mine has the
tracking gear but doesn't know the correct settings for this model. Ive been to the main agents but they say it is confidential information and
won't tell me the setting's. Probably because they want me to pay them to do it. Has anyone got knowledge of the settings? I would
appreciate it if they could let me know them, Thankyou Graham. PS it has 215x50x17 wheels -tyres

i dont know exact figures, but FWD cars tend to have a small amount of toeout, maybe .5 to 1.5 degrees, so that under acceleration they will be more
or less straight. I guess that depends on the compliance of the pivots etc.

about 1 to 2mm toe-out should be fine
or ask here http://www.ilexa.co.uk/forum/index.php

I've owned a couple of FWD citroens and they all had a fraction of toe in. I'd make sure you get the right figures. You could ask
another dealer, some are more helpful than others.
