You'll be lucky to get any from anywhere!

Why do you need them anyway?

I have replaced by Mk2 rack with a quick rack kit but had to cut one of the locking rings off the old rack so need the locknut/collar to make sure I still have steering past the end of the street!

I guess I could lockwire it?

I have tried Ford's and a few bolts and nut stockists but with no joy - think I even tried to buy a tap with no luck either!

Do Mk3 escort rack locknuts actually fit then BT?

If you look at the book you will see it is just a rear steer rack made from the the same parts.

Usually Brit manufacturers had 2 suppliers with istr Ford was mainly Burman racks

I would guess not!! Not sure what Mr. MOT would say either.

Not really know much about lock wire but isn;t the nut already done up to spec and the wire is a secondary measure? in your case there will be no nut.

If you can find out the thread/diameter then that would make it easier?

Umm, i dont think the TRE locknuts are what you need, ae they?

They are easy to get hold of from any hardware place.

I thought you meant you needed the locking ring which locks the track rod housing onto the rack itself?
