english banjo axle halfshafts

Does anybody know wheter halfshafts are still
availleble new somewhere?

it's a live axle striker btw,
the axle on which the snout bolts at the front end and there's no rear cover plate that can be taken off.

Mine are bend at the hub flange, so now I have enourmous brake judder when I slightly apply the brakes (disc conversion) there's also slight scuffing on the section the bearing slides over believed to be scars from removing the collar with a grinder (previous owner)

also somebody told me that there are thin (manual box) and thicker (auto box) types around, I belive I have the thicker type because the same diameter runs from the hub to the spline in the diff.

I looked at quiaffe uprated ones but thos are pretty darn expensive for my use (street only)

any other options also very welcome... a fix maybe?

grtz Thomas

Hi there are no suppliers off new ones except for the quaif ones.

Best bet is to look on ebay or try asking if RAW will send you some over that are known to be in good condition. Or keep an eye out on here as some one must have a spare set around.

Altho i am shure that some one in the uk was shipping them from over there to here as there was more of them available than there was here.

cheers matt
