How much slack...
...do I need on my front brake flexis on full lock?
I assume they are ok as long as they arent under tension on full lock?

And they must not touch any of the car when turning lock to lock. Also don't forget to cover them in spirowrap.

I have given mine an inch of flex at full lock. Should never be under strain.

Is that an of movement in the centre?
Mine probably have more movement than that anyway, they arent under tension at full lock. I was somewhat concerned because the pipes exit the caliper
straight up and then turn quite sharply under full lock.
They dont touch any part of the car, at any point in the steering range.
Another one, while on the suject of flexi lines. How tight should the ends of the euroquip hoses be done up where they join the union? (Hose to union,
not union to caliper etc) They have olives in, so I assume tight enough to seal, but not cranked up as tight as you can?

the flexis sound fine then.
oh the dreaded tightening of the connections. Tight but not straining tight, not much help eh...
What I do is tighten them up then clean the joints, batter the pedal as hard as I can and then go round all the joins with some tissue. Any fluid on
it then I tighten it some more until it stops. Crude I know.
