cortina mk 3/4 brake seals
From where can I get brake seals for cortina mk 3/4 claipers?
I think these are M16 that as I understand it were fited to a variety of crotinas but if I wer to go to Ford/Motor factors, they ask for car
year/model etc. which I don't know
It looks like one of the pistons is seized - is it possible ot push irt out with caliper still fitted and clean it up or is it new seals time?
Failing that, I see RD do lost of calipers - any one know which model would be a direct replacement? (have sierra master with 8 inch mk2 escort
drums)

Try typing cortina calipers in ebay there are always a few seal kits there. I got the same questions about year etc at motor factors and asked them to
check part numbers and guess what? MK3,4,5 cortina were all the same.
Linky to caliper stuff supplier

If the piston is siezed I would suggest it's time for a reconditioned caliper

Calipers for Mk3/4/5 Cortinas were all the same so you shouldn't need the year. Just ask for M16's for a Cortina at your local motor
factor. The calipers are readily available as they are also commonly used in industrial applications. Exchange reconditioned should only be about
£60-70 for the pair.
If you need seals I think I've got a set I could let you have for £5. U2U if interested.
