Sierra front up rights

Can I use 4x4 front uprights?
I know they have the drive shaft holes but is there any reason I can't use them?
They would be used on an MNR by the way
Thanks

I throw mine in the bin, heavy lumps of metal....

I believe you can but will need to keep the driveshaft end, so cut off the CV and use whats left to keep the bearings together. The lump of metal becomes a hub carrier like the rear axle.
