supplier of HT M12 rod

the threaded rod I've used to mount my sierra diff has snapped. I need either a 300mm long high tensile M12 bolt or some high tensile threaded rod. Where's a good place to get this from?

MNR? MK (MK's rear upright uses one the correct length from memory (check!))?

Mine came from the sierra (8.8 HT bolt)...

How long is the sierra bolt? There is quite a bit of gap between the diff and the mounting bracket that is (was) filled up with washers. I'm guessing that the sierra wasn't like that.

BTW, what tensile grade do I need?

MNR helicoil the diff mounts (I forgot to take the diff with me, so they kindly sent down the kit!)

Tapped the holes out and put in the helicoils, then you need much shorter bolts on each side.

HTH,

theres spacers in my sierra back end
think it depends on if its a 7 or a 7/2 inch diff
guess your chassis would be the same ? ??

my local fasterner place does M12 but listed up to 200 mm long; they do stock a load more not in the catalogue.

aslo do M12 studding, HT (8.8) in 1 and 3m lengtrhs.

use socket cap bolts, fitted from the centre of the diff outwards (i.e. with the nuts on the outside IYSWIM)
