A048R Replacement

A mate was looking for a set of yoko cut slicks like the A048r, we get them cheap through work but when the stores guy phoned them they said they had none in production for the next 4 months, which was as far as he could check.

He said it sounded like they were superceding them with another tyre.

Does anyone know if they are replacing it? You would have though they would be in constant production otherwise as they are a popular tyre.

Why not try the Toyo R888 or Avon ZZR.

The A048 was a replacement for the A032 only a couple of years ago, so I doubt they'll be superceding it already. Give George Polley Motorsport a call as they are the UK importers I think.

It's probably near the end of the season so they don't want a load in stock till next year.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I guess thats why. We buy massives amounts of tyres direct from yoko, so they will sell single tyres or sets at trade to us. Im talking about £20 a tyres for A539s or £35 for A048r depending on size obviously.

Hence why I always try and buy yoko!
