What 13" steel wheels for locost?

As i'm building a rat rod type locost i want some steel wheelswhich i can paint satin black the same colour as the bodywork.

so question is: What Ford 13" steel wheels have the same offset as RS alloys so will fill my 9" arches. ( i have a Mk2 escort axle by the way) I know Mexeco steels and Lotus steels work but they are rare and expensive. I was hoping to pick up a set for a few quid and not have to spend a few hundread on alloys. I'll be fitting new 185/60/13's unless the wheels come with decent tyres. i don't mind spending the dosh on the tyres as they are a safety issue.

Hi Andy, I have used 2lt capri steels that look like mk3 escort, But 5 1/2" wide and the same offset as Lotus steels with 8 holes instead of slots. only paid £8.00 each in good condition.

Citroen or Peugot steels will fit they are the same PCD and offset as RWD fords.I tried a citroen BX wheel on mine at one time and so know they fit.
Just thought though they may not be available in 13 inch.
Paul.

Wellers are an option as they now make motorsport wheels in the right PDC and offset etc but again are £50 each. Trying to keep tis locost!! It's hard

Sold a full set, two 6" and two 7", on eBay for about £20 about 18 months ago. I've got a set of Mexico rims as well, but also to far away.
