Which Handbrake Cable To Fit Sierra Cosworth Calipers?

Hi guys,

I have a standard handbrake lever from rally design and rear calipers off a sierra cosworth. I have just bought a sierra handbrake cable to fit the calipers but:

1. It seems quite long.
2. It doesnt fit to my handbrake lever without some form of modification.

Therefore can anyone recommend a handbrake cable which would suit my setup?

Cheers,

Matt

Usually the hand brake cable has to be cut to length. You can make an attachment for the handbrake lever from a piece of ally.

We do not know your setup so maybe some more info on what you are building would be useful.

You'll need to cut the inner and rejoin them with wire clamps.

On my car I had to make a L shape piece of metal bar with holes in both ends to bolt to the handbrake lever and the half-moon balancing crescent.

Thanks for the advice,

I thought I would have to modify it some way like that.

Cheers,

Matt
