front disks
my donor car is/was a late saphire with large vented frond disks
i would like to know if i can use smaller solid fronts i.e. fiesta/ ka ones with the standard saphire rears or will my braking be all wrong

It all depends on your calliper size, master cylinder sizes and whether you are using a balance bar.

the calipers ill prob buy new the master cylinder is straight off the saphire

Are you using rear discs? if so I would stick with larger front discs otherwise you will have too much braking at the rear (not good!)

Somewhere on this forum theres a really good spreadsheet that allows you to feed in all your brake parameters and check the balance (for all-disc
system)
Do a search and with a bit of time you should be able to check your system for balance.

I just bought standard ABS vented discs for mine as these are the larger ones and my donor had an ABS system local motor factors for about £15 each
