Which offset and width will fit ?
Hello,
Now and than I see some nice wheels but I do not know if they will fit
the Fury.
It has to be 4x108 with the correct centerbore etc. But what about the
width and offset ? Too low offset the outside edge of the wheel will
extend to much maybe. To wide the clearance from stut housing to the
inside of the wheel will decrease. So it has to be the right
combination of these two...
Tyre size is of course also important ( speedo reading and ground
clearance of my sump / driveability etc. ).
6J ET 18 / 21 is what I used on my Fury so far.
But I need some more references if possible...
What wheel tyre size combo are you using ? Anybody uses 7
inch wheels for instance ?
regards
Jos

You can always extend your wheel arches when the wheels extend to much.
I'm going to fit 16" 9J ET22 alloys with 245/45-16 tyres at the back of my Indy. They also extend to much, so I have to extend my wheel
arches with almost 2.5 inches...

Thanx Ruud, but I do not want to extend the wheel arches. I have 14 inch superlites on the car 6x14 et 18 with 185.60.14 tires but can get my hands
on 13 inch ats classics
7 x 13 et20. which means the clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 15mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 11mm
If I use 185.60.13 on these rims which are 1 inch wider than the superlites this will be of some difference according to the total width of the
tyre/rim combo.
I can measure ofcourse something now but this will give me an idea only
