RS2000 Wheel
Just brought a Wheel from Ebay.
Thing is its arrived with tappered seats where the nuts sit, and not the flat ones on my Escort Wheels.
Im prepared to use as a spare so should i get three nuts to fit this wheel incase i need it in an emergency or get rid and look for the right one?
Also anyone want to swap?

Looks like it was probably a Capri Laser wheel. Those are the wheels I have. Should be ok if you use the correct nuts for the wheel (Tapered ). Why
three nuts and not the usual four?

What size?
I've got a spare one in my garage with flat seats?

£32 including postage.
Is your spare fully painted or still as it would have been from new?

Hi,
If the wheel has taper seats - it's a Capri Laser wheel, if flat seats then its RS2000.
Just to be pedantic!!

Hi " inflation " . Not unless it's got a tyre on it.
Its just a case of people realising how cheap they can get a light weight wheel for. Allmost std fitment on the locost racers these days.
Also dont forget there is the fiesta version with FWD offset but i cant remmember what the nut/bolt seat was.
Cheers Matt

capri laser wheels are 10 a penny and i wouldnt pay more then the scrap value for them 7 a wheel ish atm
rs alloys have a thinner lip around the spokes and take the flat washers and are quite rare a good set of 6" ones will go for around 150 or
more and a good set of sevens for atleast 250 i have seen them go uip to 400 !
ive weighed in 8 capri laser wheels in the last few months and 12 capri pepper pots because you cant give them away in ford circles lol
