Brake reservoir fouling bulkhead

Hi all,

I attempted to fit my master cylinder today (off a Sierra) but because of how the reinforced bulkhead has been welded (slightly inboard of the rest of the bulkhead) the brake reservoir fouls on it.

Can i simply turn the reservoir around through 180 degrees as it fits like this or will this cause problems?

Or should I just bite the bullet and make a spacer and mount it the right way round?

Thanks in advance.

Chris.

Couple of washers on each bolt between the MC and bulkhead will do.
