BMW steering
My donor (BMW E36) has power steering and seeing as im building a locost i doubt ill need power steering. So i was just wondering if anyone on here
had any idea wether the E36 came without power steering? If so does anyone know where i can get my hands on a rack? then i can still use my column and
everything without having to change it all out (hopefully saving money)
Thanks for your help in advance

just checked, E30 were power steering aswell, damit
ill have to look into a sierra rack mabye, hopefully it will work.
Would anyone mind measuring (or if you already know) the track rod end bolt diameter, The teeth and diameter of the splined shaft for the column, and
track rod end to track rod end?
WOuld be much appreciated if someone knew these
Thanks

reasoned i mentioned e30 was because i just saw a parts listing for track rod ends and in brackets was (for vehicles with power steering) or something
like that

Rally design Escort quick racks are good and cheap, you will be extending your steering down shaft anyway so you can get a suitable Ford down link for
the bottom section.
Good luck!
