More Ball Joint Woes.....

Well I got the Maxi Ball Joints as advised form here. The only problem is that they aren't tapered (at all) to match the Cortina hubs. So now what do I do?

Suggestions?

Modify the wishbones or is there a mod for the hubs?

Greg.

Most likely like you have got Montego/Maestro bottom ball joints.

Agree with ^^^^ as the Maxi ones are definately tapered, and fit the Cortina uprights without modification. HTH Ray

Is it the usual mistake (I did it ) thinking that they should go on with the joint on top and the threaded peg facing down (wrong) rather than the joint slung underneath and the threaded peg pointing up (right) ?
