suspension sagging

The suspension on my car has sunk on the drivers side, it's an inch lower than the passengers, the car was stood for ten years before i took it on and started afresh, ( finished last year done 200 miles) so i suppose they're just gone, obviously i'm going to have to get a new set up, anyone point me in the right direction for reasonable priced spax, either that or just go for bog standard set up, what do you think?

You can have a set of Protech's made for your specific car/setup for a very reasonable price...

All springs sag over time -- the sagging of a spring takes place in three phases
(1) Initial settling -- over days or weeks -- high rate of change of length.
(2) Mid life --- low rate of change of length
(3) End of life -- high rate of change of length

The intial setting in a pain in the neck because it means the ride height and corner weights have to be re done after a few weeks.

Good quality springs settle less partly because they are properly "scragged" before you get them.

You can DIY scrag springs simply compress them fully and leave them overnight in warm place.

If the suspension has "settled" ie lost height you don't need to change the shocks. A loss of ride height is down to the springs. With the springs off the shocks just check that they are damping by hand. If so all you need are 4 springs. A bit cheaper than 4 shocks
