Brakes have arrived Woo! Bits missing tho!

Parts have arrived to sort my braking out! Found last week that the MC had leaked, the rear offside wheel cylinder had gone aswell!
Managed to get a brand new cylinder (Expensive one, Typical!) 2 rear cylinders, fixing kit and shoes and one drum... ONE DRUM?

They advertise them in pairs and EBC send me one! So hopefully the other should be here shortly tomo or monday.

Will running a new drum on one side and an old one on the other cause any problems? It should only be to get it home and a few miles sunday if its dry.....

seems pointless bedding a new shoe into an old drum to me. plus it means when you do finally get your new drum, the one that's been on longer will be bedded in better than the other.

for the want of a few miles out on sunday when chances are, it'll pee it down, i'd just wait for your new drum to arrive.

Well i can only use a mates garage tonight, its hardly going to bed in on the mile home... It'll be changed by monday at the latest. So i doubt there will be much wear?
If its raining it wont go out at all anyway...

It'll be fine, it take much longer than a mile to bed brake shoes in.
