Uprights... again
Right ok ive got the struts chopped.
Just to comfirm on castor, the top needs to be behind the bottom right? and aorund 5-8 degrees i believe?
Second with ackerman, its the line through the balljoint and steering arm that need to go to the center of the rear axle right?
If the steering arm is in front is the same line? in other words the steering arms are pointing out slighty or is it flipped so the arms are still
pointing in?
Cheers

have you read up on the subject much mate? i would recommend getting a book and studying it first. erm, there's one i got (can't remmeber
where it is) by a bloke called des someone (des hammil maybe) and its called buy to build and modify kit car and competition suspension and brakes or
something similar. my descriptions don't help much perhaps, but when i find the book i'll give it its proper title. its full of
information on uprights, castor, camber, ackerman, wishbones, brakes, i learned a lot from it. if i find it i'll scan you some of the pages on
ackerman

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
