rose joints - cost and issues on road car?
keep thinking of putting rose joints on the trailing links on the road car.
I'm thinking of this cause it means i can be sure my trailing arms are the exact length.
So, where's a good place to buy them?
what size would you recommend (i've got 1/2" by 1/2" on my panhard rod).
and, i worry about stories of rose joints failing - how much should i worry on a live axle / de-dion road car trailing arms?

You will get a few different viewpoints here but on a road car I would not fit rose joints as they will not last a tenth of the time as bushes - trust
me on this.

I used rose joints on the panhard bar for mine, The SVA man did not like them one little bit, we didnt fail me on them, be strongly recommended that
i used a convetional bush design for the retest.

Tiger use a rose bush on one end of the trailing arms to the dedion unit with a conventional (Poly) bush at the other end on the R6 and B6 models.

I've got some 1/2 unf thread ones with a 9/16 bore that are aerospace spec and would be very good if protected with a rubber boot.

Bushes have play in them for a reason (Not just road car comfort). Maybe consider very stiff Polyurethane ones for a happy medium?
