handbrake cable circlips source...

Hi folks
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a couple of the circlips that hold the sierra handbrake cable into the calipers? The dealers tend to look at you a bit strangly when you ask for sierra parts!
Cheers

I got a box of assorted e-clips from my local tool shop for a few quid. I think Halfords might also do them as well.

Admittedly, I don't think I've used another one out of the box since then

Thanks for the replies, the Eclips I bought don't have a large enough outer diameter to stop the cable pulling through. And I checked in the haynes manual and that showed much bigger clips. Looks like a trip to the scrap yard...

pulling through??................

I haven't used any cirlips on mine!!

The plastic top hat ends stop it pulling through when you pull the handbrake on, and with it properly adjusted they can't come out backwards, there isn't enough slack in the cable.

You don't need the circlips
