Anyone know what diff ratio a 1.8 Diesel normally has?

people say that, but IMHO thats not completely true. In my experience its fairly consistant what diff is in what car. Obviously if its a 2 litre petrol then theres no way of knowing, but old 2.3s (diesels or v6s) are always 3.14 or 3.38.

3.62 in the one I found (U on the vin plate I think ?)
