hi there how hard would it be to put the irs parts from the new book on to the old chassis any help on this subject would be much appriciated many

I had a look at the Tiger Avon book and made my own IRS to fit my Champion +4" chassis, so don't see why you can't graft the Haynes
IRS onto RC chassis.
I'll have a look at the latest book later, and see if I see any major probs

To be honest you'd probably have a much better handling car if you did it the other way round but if for some reason you MUST have IRS then yes,
it would be fairly straightforward. The Roadster chassis is 2 inches wider overall but that shouldn't cause any problems, I would consider
widening the front wishbones personally but the 'if it doesn't fit hit it with a bigger hammer' brigade will tell you it's not
worth it..... depends what you want out of the car I supose
