Help with subframe

Hi,

yesterday i got hold of the front suspension from a mondeo to transplant in the back of my saab. Need to give it a good clean but my question is what do the bolts for the subframe mount to in the car body?
ie what can i weld in the saab so i can bolt the subframe securely?

cheers

Mondeo subframe bolts into captive nuts in chassis. When fitting subframe in a mondeo it needs to be aligned using a couple of guides otherwise the car is likely to "crab". HTH.

Suspect your best bet would be to have a look at a Mondeo which has the subframe removed. The captive nuts are inside the box section at the front mounting point and if you can lift the front carpet and sound insulation there is a little grill over the box section which can be removed to get at the captive nuts.
