Sierra Rack Pinion Help
Reliably informed by RD the pinion spline on the Sierra rack was the same as the Escort one, and they sold the UJ which has the triangular joint
...
They speak with forked tongues, Oh no it doesnt.
Where can I buy a UJ which fits the Sierra spline please ?

Would of been simpler if they werent so confident it would fit, I was very specific - Sierra rack UJ insead of the doughnut joint.
Could of had the steering fully mocked up tomorrow, now its on hold till I get this sorted.

That's odd because my sierra rack has the same splines as my Mk2 Escort rack, and AFAIK loads of people are using Sierra columns with Mk2 Escort
racks.
Edit: You don't have a power steering rack do you? I think these are different.

Will be in the garage today, so will love it more than I did yesterday and see if it fits -
Nat shortened a Sierra rack when he built the front end up, I wouldnt know the difference between PS racks and Non PS racks- see picture ?
I suppose if my UJ doesnt fit, then I must have a PS rack
