sierra calipers to m16 calipers

is it as simple as just unbolting the old floating calipers and bolting the m16 calipers on the same disks or is it a much bigger job than that

the car is built from a 1988 sierra i think it has 240mm disks

any info welcome

different mountings the hole spacings are different
