Thoughts on hub centric wheel spacers
What are peoples thoughts on hub centric wheel spacers, im looking at a set 16mm thick, but ive never been a fan of wheel spacers and these look a
better option than normal disc type ones

Depends on the application, if its to make up for the wrong offset wheels then its not really much of a problem, obviously hubcentric ones are less
likely to cause balancing issues and make it easier to put the wheel on and off!
If its to give a wider track over the designed parameters then it can lead to excessive wear on wheelbearing and suspension parts, however as long as
you arent running silly wide tyres then 16mm is a fairly small change.

No problem at all. I have been running 25mm hubcentrics for 2 years, and have no issue with them. I just make sure they are well seated before I
torque up the wheel.

Had a set of 19mm ones turned up locally for mines. Previously had 20mm generic non hub centric ones. Big differrence now with no vibration.
Previously it was pretty bad vibration wise. As long as your bolts/studs have enough length you'll be fine.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Don't worry about it, The sister cars to yours are mostly running 1" / 25mm for most circuits.

There is no issue with running hubcentric spacers, i was running 50mm (2 x 25mm) spacers on each side at the rear with no problem
