Go-race quick release

Hi all

Looking into a quick release system and have searched through the forum reading about the different kinds and what can go wrong.

Ive been trying to decide between a works bell or a snap off system as they work very differently

but then I came across this one:

Go-Race

Does anyone have an experience of them?

Looks like very good quality and possibly just as good as the works bell at a fraction of the cost.

Thanks

Patrick

I've also recently seen these, they look pretty good quality. The difference it seems are the fewer ball bearings (only 4) in the Sprint Series ones which hold the hub on the column. I don't know how many the Works Bell one has, but I assume it has more.

One thing that I wasn't sure on was the fact the Sprint series don't have the master location pin, unlike the Circuit versions. I emailed the company to ask how the steering wheel could be relocated once taken off with the Sprint QR hubs. I got this reply:

"Hi James, thanks for your question. We now supply a sprint series boss with a master location so that the boss can only go on one way. This ensures consistent alignment. So the answer to your question is yes. However it is up to you to fit the boss in the correct orientation when you first fit it. The boss has a universal fitting to cover the different steering column arrangements. I hope that makes sense. If you need any further info please ask.

Best regards

Why do they say it's not recommended for road use? Or are they just a**e covering and it's actually fine?
