Brembo brakes

Ive noticed a lot of corrosion on my old mans calipers on his evo, theyve started going slightly crumbly white in places. not massively, just the surface. ive tried to find brembo maintenance guides with no luck, but just worried theyre on the way out.

can anyone shed any light?

cheers

I wouldnt worry too much. Aluminium has a tendancy to go flakey white on the surface if exposed to salty water, this is just an oxide layer. The heat of the brakes tends to break down the paint coating allowing water in. If your that worried you could get them re-coated by someone like big-red.
