trackday tyres
can i have recomendations on the best trackday tyres that arent stupidly priced im after 195/50/r15's they wont get any road use but will get
spun up a lot have heard good things about the toyo r888 but wanted to hear peoples opinion's on how they compare with other brands

You could also go for part worn slicks

disapointed in r888 way to dear def try some second hand slicks way better have to warm them up though

Very happy on road and track with my R888's. When cold they grip as well as any tyre, but when warmed up, they become very sticky indeed. I have
done 3 trackdays, and 2500 miles, and mine still have plenty of life in them, so a worth while spend IMHO... You could consider a switch to 13"
wheels/tyres, which are generally considered to handle better, and are cheaper to buy tyres for... Just a thought!

id consider them but i was advised to use 15's to clear the rear assemby without issue im willing to spend about £140 a tyre might run normal
tyres on the front when i have my grudge match at the pod against my mates pulsar

I seem to regularly get some part worn r888's, come of a race car having done a qualy session. Perfect for the kit. Great tyre when cold and
even better when hot, and damn good in the damp as well.
+ getting them part worn, i've had a couple of sets around £150 a set of 4.
