Engine ID please

Can any of you chaps id this engine for me (well my mate)

its a 1.6 ford but thats all i know.

yar , CVH - prolly from fiesta or escort looking at the exhaust .

to somebody who wants it , maybe £50 tops

You might struggle to give that away...

Just my opinion but they are not a great engine to start with and personally, I would need to hear it running before going to the effort of fitting it.

I had a mk4 Escort with one in. I kept it for 7 years and all I ever did was service it, it was a good engine as long as you kept the oil fresh as it has hydraulic tappets. It would do 110 in an Escort so it should pull a locost easily enough
