4 pot / master cyl
When fitting 4 pot calipers do you need to change the master cyl bore to avoid getting a long pedal movement, because of the extra fluid needed to
pump the 4 pistons, I have a non servo escort mk2 cylinder which i believe is .75" bore.
Also it intrigues me that people have to use a brake bias valve , my M/cyl has 2 outlets which go to the front brakes and a single outlet for the rear
circuit, with no compensation , if anything the rear brakes are under performing , they have never locked in 5 years!!!!

Got to agree with you m8.. i fitted a fiat uno adjuster into the rear line, and have resorted to removing any adjustment as brakes were set up almost
perfectly at m.o.t station without the need to reduce rear braking.
BTW.. m16 front and 9"drums on rear.
Cheers

Dave
I have not set my fiat valve either and agree if anything i need a touch more braking at the rear.
as for the 4 pots and m/c,stevem used my old princess 4 pots with his escort m/c and had no probs. (although as we know steve often uses parts of his
engine to slow him down when they depart there original position)

A .75" mc should have no problems with 4 pots (a 0.7" would be too small) -- of course now your car is even more ovr braked on the
front..
