Drive Shaft Cleaning

Anyone tried to clean sierra 4*4 LSD drive shafts using the electrolysis process. I have taken the circlips off and taken the shafts apart. Can the bearings be pushed out re-greased and re-fitted after cleaning or is this not a good idea.

Thanks

electrolysis will derust them but I would personally think they would look much better bead/sand blasted.

I would keep the cv's in one piece and just wash them well in paraffin, rahter than dismantling them, there's no need.
