Sierra LSD Drive shaft CV boots
Anyone know the cheapest place to get a set of descent CV boots for bolt on type sierra drive shafts? I want to replace all four but have been quoted
£30 ish the lot!

That price is about the norm for decent quality stretch boots any cheaper and they will split.
Fitting cones can be found for just over a fiver including vat.

I was advised that the only boots worth fitting were genuine Ford.
ISTR I may have paid a bit more than that even , but , they do come with a pair of clips and a sachet of grease

sounds about right, they're £5 + vat each at my local trade factors.
The joints themselves are £20 each with gaiters included.
You don't need stretch boots or owt like that, it's only 1 circlip on the end of the shaft to take the joint off, they just tap off.
