JIC fittings sizes

Does anyone know what the JIC sizes refer to. i.e. what size in milimetres is a jic -6 for example and more to the point what size hose would you need to fit a -12 jic fitting, any ideas.

cheers Ned, saves me writing it all again!

-12 is 12/16" which is obviously 3/4" so you'll need 3/4" BORE hose to suit that fitting size.

cheers

Brilliant people at Think Automotive (strange place though, not at all what you'd expect in terms of the building/surroundings!!!) but you'll come out VERY poor!!!!!!

Superb service though, they know EVERYTHING about automotive (and military!) plumbing!!
