how many degrees of steering lock?
latest sketch has 30 degrees of steering lock before it fouls the bones. Anyone know if this is enough for an average hairpin on track?
I know this is a hard one to answer, as most people dont know the amount in degrees, but an indication would be nice
Cheers.

I think you'll want more than that Joel.
As we said before, with the 2 piece wishbones I get around 70 degrees of lock so you should be able to get 45 degrees ok.

70 degrees is pretty impressive! Part of my trouble stems from joining the two parts of the bones too close to the end. I need to find a compromise
i suppose, lock vs bending them under breaking!
in your archive, number 3 shows your front bones quite well, do you have an other pictures of them, ideally top down at full lock?!
cheers.

just remebered about this one!
Will check tomorrow, should actually make it into the garage then instead of the constant drunkeness that seems to be typifying my weekends of late
