Sierra diff mounting dimension

Hi all,

Busy day building my BEC, I,m now on to the rear subframe to take the diff and wishbones before completing the tunnel.

Has anyone got the dimensions for the 1/4" steel brackets to bolt the diff to ? the best I can find by searching is 104mm between holes.

Also are the halfshafts handed as looking at various pictures the pinion sits along the central axis of the chassis (or should I jink it over a bit ?).

Cheers Mark

Sierra diff?

The diff nose is central in the car, the crownwheel is offset so one shaft is longer than the other. The nearside is a left hand thread hub nut as well.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
