Steering linkage / kinkage

Does anyone have a picture of the route the steering linkages should take from column to rack. Is there a maximum angle that the linkage can take and still work?

In the SVA manual, it states that a universal joint "is unlikely" to operate at an angle greater than 30 deg. So I would say that if you arranged it to take a route that required less than that angle you would be well in.

I believe you also have to have a minimum of 10 degrees for the SVA so that in a crash it is forced sideways and not straight into your chest.
