Anbody know where to get 15 x 9 Alloys?

I need 15 x 9's on the back of my car (and no I don't want to get into a discussion about tyres sizes!!)

Anybody know as suppy of this size of wheel? So far I've only come up with Revolution Wheels. Minilite only do a 15 x 8', and Compomotives web site is so bad I can't find any info on it.

The largest compomotive do in 15's are 8" wide.

Depends how much you have to spend, but if i had the dosh I would be looking at Image wheels:

http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/

They make wheels in all sorts of sizes, and will have something like what you want

Hi David

Just spoke to Compomotive, the guy there did not like it that I told him his web site was crap.

Here's a challenge for anybody. Go to there web site:

Clickyhttp://www.comp.co.uk/

And find a picture of a 15 x 9 Minilite style wheel. It's on there. Or even a 15 x 8 Minilite .....

Don't want to spend silly prices though

I agree their website is crap!

David

PS just had a look, they do modular (split rim?) wheels in ML style, so I would assume they will make them in 9" wide?

Their website may not be the best, but their service puts a lot of other suppliers to shame......

Speak to Gavin - he'll sort you out!

Jasper,

Try speaking to Mike Barnby, he is based in kent workwise but lives just off the a23 before purley way. He did the alloys for the r500 and my mate has 2 sets for different race cars. He made them to order and can do whatever sizes/offsets etc as he spins the aluminimum rim halves and has the centres cast/machined out of a range of materials. Not necessarily cheap but would definately make them to fit in the size you require.

Think he trades under barnby engineering if you look on yell.com

Ned.

ps what wheels do caterham use with the cr500's, would they fit your car?

I had some 15x9 Compomotive CXR split rims on my Mk 1 Escort, there were very nice indeed, and I've got a pair of CXR 15x12s waiting for a hot rod project.
