steering extension

hi
can anyone tell me where i can get the uj clamp for the bottom of a sierra column and also extension bar and uj's to fit escort rack

You can knock the extension up yourself, if you can weld or get someone to do it for you and just get the lower steering column which includes the uj's and clamp from a local scrappy.

Make sure you pin the parts together when welding your own.

You don't want it coming apart in the tight bend with the back end out....

Does the Capri steering extension fit the bill? i need one to go from Sierra column to escort rack... It has a rubber end and a small U/J... Is this a standard Ford size?

Theres plenty of threads on this if you used the search function.

All the manual ford steering racks are the same splines. Anything which had PAS had bigger spines.

You can just use a downlink from a sierra and chop and extend it.
