Vented disc question ?

Was telling some one about my hobby as you do He replied "back in a mo".

He came back with two new pairs of capri vented discs. Said I had new solid discs but insisted he was fed up of triping over them

Is the extra braking worth the £35 I would need to spend on the spacer kit ? along with the extra weight it would add.

There is no extra braking available, vented discs reduce the chance of brake fade due to overheating, however the low weight of a Seven rep means that overheating is much reduced anyway compared to the car that the brakes were originally designed for. Bling factor though....

on the balance i belive the extra weight makes them undesirable. Some even say you want hot discs so they radiate heat faster.

They are good brakes. I just fitted some to my Viento.
Better than the 240mm ones I have fitted.

But then I have more weight in Me ... nad the Viento
