What bore master cylinder?
Hi guys. Im running raceleda discs and r16 callipers at the front and standard sierra drums at the back. Im planning on using a single master cylinder
as i dont think i will have a problem with rear bias. Any advice on what size M/C to get for track use?
Cheers.

A lot depends on the pedal ratio but if you are using one m/c for all the calipers I would think you will need to be around 0.75". Personally I
would fit twin m/c so you can adjust front & rear independently - it will be stuck with whatever bias the m/c allows.

cheers raz. I just need a start point, the drums will get replaced eventually i just need to get it moving. Will look into a 0.75. Is a 5 to 1
pedal ratio in the right ball park to start at?

My own pedal is a little less than 5:1 and I found the pedal a bit scary to start with but you soon bring the leg muscles up to spec
If you can manage it, 6:1 is better. Your pedal may feel different due to having 4 calipers and I can't help wondering if a single m/c will be
up to the job - two m/c will give you a better pedal, some bias adjustment and more security if you spring a leak.
At the very least I would go for a tandem m/c which would cover the last point, especially if you are intending to use the car on the track.
Just my 2p

Raz
