convering drum brakes to discs

anyone done this?

I've got a Dana model 30 axle from an american Ford Aerostar (i think the same axle as is/was used on Jeeps and other 4x4)

without going into specifics on the particular axle and what i would need and where from etc, how difficult is it usually? would it mean new drive shafts or what?

itll be the front axle that have so might want to check the method of operation .

to convert to disks - just buy a volvo axle - its a dana 30 diff .

the jeeps use a dana 44 rear , so dana 30 only comes on the front - some have a factory LSD . the factory volvo option is the eaton G80 locker - ive got three of those which can be modified to operate above the 25mph disconnect .

i suppose the real question is, are the hubs removable from the axle shafts on a live axle?

I need a 6 stud pattern too, with discs, so could do with new hubs on the axle
